What Exactly Is a Level IV NICU?

Lehigh Valley Children’s Hospital has the only complete neonatal intensive care program in the region, allowing us to care for our tiniest and most vulnerable patients close to home. Our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest is the only unit in the region classified at the highest level, Level IV.
