Know Someone Who’s Helped Improve the Health of the Pocono Community?

Nominate them for the LVH–Pocono Gold Medal Award

The Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)Pocono Board of Directors is now accepting nominations for the prestigious Gold Medal Award. The Gold Medal Award was established in 1984 for the purposeful recognition of an individual’s substantial and exemplary contributions to the advancement of health in the Pocono community by helping LVHPocono fulfill its mission and achieve its vision, while modeling the organizational values of compassion, integrity, collaboration and excellence.

The board will be accepting nominees for 2021 through May 1. Completed nomination forms will be reviewed at the May 13 LVH–Pocono Board Meeting, and a decision made on whether there will be a recipient(s). If a conference can be held, the awardee(s) will be honored at an event later this year with consideration of safety protocols.

The nomination must clearly articulate the lasting contributions the nominee has made to the improvement of health care in our community. A recipient may be recognized posthumously.
