Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono Earns Another Grade “A” from Leapfrog Group
For the third consecutive review cycle, Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Pocono has earned an “A” grade in quality standards and patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, the highly respected national watchdog which issues letter grades for hospital standards twice a year.
Out of 2,639 hospitals surveyed for the Spring 2017 review, LVH-Pocono was one of 823 to earn an “A.” That puts it among the top 31 percent to earn the distinction of safest hospitals in America. LVH-Pocono earned the same honor in the Spring and Fall reviews of 2016.
The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2000 that collects data and transparently reports hospital performance to help empower consumers to find the best value in their care.
