LVHN Accountable Care Organization, LLC Accepted into Second Medicare Shared Savings Program Agreement Period

Lehigh Valley Health Network Accountable Care Organization, LLC (LVHN ACO) is one of 561 approved Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and one of 65 renewal ACOs to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). There are now a total of 10.5 million beneficiaries assigned to ACOs nationally. This is LVHN ACOs second three-year agreement period, with 2018 marking the fourth year participating in the MSSP program.

LVHN ACO is continuing as a Track 1 participant. There have been many learnings and successes in the first three years, including achievement of over $11 million in savings, to providing high value care with a quality score of ~98%.
