Too Many Overnight Bathroom Trips? Take this Quiz

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) might be the cause for men

If you find yourself making more than two bathroom trips a night, it’s a sign you could have benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH, a condition that causes the prostate gland to enlarge as men grow older. About half of all men over age 50 – and 90 percent of men over age 80 – have BPH.

Lehigh Valley Health Network now offers two in-office procedures – UroLift® and Rezum® – to treat BPH. No anesthesia, no stay in the hospital, just relief. “I want every man in our community to know you don’t have to live with frequent urination,” says Angelo Baccala, MD, chief of urology. “We have a few very easy, in-office procedures with no recovery time to get you back to normal life as soon as tomorrow.”

Take our assessment – developed by the American Urological Association – to learn whether BPH could be the cause of your sleepless nights. Then, call 888-402-LVHN (5846) to schedule an appointment with one of our urology professionals. Bring your assessment with you to discuss at your appointment.
