Two More Convenient ExpressCARE Locations
This week, Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) opened two new ExpressCARE locations – bringing care even closer to home. Both ExpressCARE facilities will serve Allentown in the former EmergiCenter sites on Cedar Crest Blvd. and Airport Road.
These locations will provide walk-in care without an appointment for minor illnesses and injuries such as sprains, strains, seasonal allergies, cold, flu, poison ivy/rashes, bronchitis, ear infections and many others. Additionally, they will offer X-ray services.
Mark Prezioso, PA-C, Assistant Medical Director, Lehigh Valley Physician Group ExpressCARE, says LVHN is not merging with or acquiring the EmergiCenters, but operations are being turned over to LVHN ExpressCARE.
“As much of our staff throughout the health network continues to dedicate themselves in the battle against COVID-19, we also understand the need to provide access to our community for all of their health care needs,” Prezioso says. “EmergiCenters have been a staple in our community for almost 30 years. We are excited to be able to offer two additional ExpressCARE sites for our community at these well-established facilities to give patients more ways to receive LVHN care.”
