Getting your COVID-19 vaccine at Dorney Park or another LVHN drive-through location is a safe and efficient way to get your shot without ever having to leave the comfort of your car.

There are a few things to keep in mind if you are getting your vaccine at a drive-through clinic. Make sure you and others in your car are wearing a mask. While you don’t need to leave the comfort of your car, you will still be in close contact with LVHN volunteers as they check you in and give you your shot. Also, wear short sleeves or clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm, where the vaccine will be administered.

STEP 1: As you enter the COVID-19 drive-through vaccination clinic, a volunteer will greet you and confirm your appointment and personal information.

STEP 2: A volunteer will mark your car with a smiley face (using a washable marker) to show that you have gone through the check-in process.

STEP 3: Next, you will drive up to the tent and wait your turn to receive the vaccine.

STEP 4: When it is your turn, you will be directed to drive into the tent where an LVHN volunteer will ask you to confirm your information before administering your vaccine.

STEP 5: An LVHN volunteer will mark the time of your vaccination on your front windshield in washable marker. After you receive your vaccine, you are required to wait in the holding area for 15 minutes to ensure you will receive medical attention if you have a reaction.

STEP 6: You will be asked to pull forward into the waiting area to wait for 15 minutes after your vaccination. There are attendants in the waiting area who routinely check to make sure everyone is doing well.

STEP 7: If you or someone in your car experiences a reaction to the vaccine, let an attendant know by putting on your vehicle's emergency blinkers. The attendant will place a small American flag with a magnetic base on your vehicle to help additional health care personnel locate your vehicle.

THAT'S IT! Once your 15 minutes are up and you are feeling fine, you are free to leave.
